The Daphna Vase is a takeoff on the iconic

classic vase silhouette.
I decided to play with the vase rules and conventions, aiming to achieve a modern interpretation of the classic archetype.
It is an exercise of making a new shape, with

regards and great respect to the classic form,

with a distinct interference.

Porcelain, the vase's material is also both ancient and new, and it gives the Daphna Vase a

classic - contemporary look.
The Daphna Vase is an eye catcher that would grab your attention and hopefully will make you think, even smile.
